Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2015-16. AICTE announces the schedule for conducting National Level Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) to select suitable students for admission in management programmes for academic year 2015-16. The candidates will be given two opportunities to appear in CMAT; first in September, 2014 and Second in February, 2015. The better of two scores will be used for admission for 2015-16. CMAT is the only test for admission in MBA Programmes in AICTE approved institutions and University Departments of all the states.

  • Registration window opens on: 03/07/2014
  • Last Date for Online Registration: 25/08/2014
  • Print out of Hall ticket from: 12/09/2014
  • Computer based test dates: 25/09/2014 to 29/09/2014
  • Test Timings: 9.30 am - 12.30 pm, 2.30 pm - 5.30 pm
  • Declaration of result: 30/10/2014
  • Print out of Score Cards: 30/10/2014 to 30/11/2014
AICTE Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2015

Eligibility

Graduates in any discipline or Final year students of Graduate Courses (10+2+3) whose result will be declared before commencement of admission for 2015 can apply for CMAT online.

Online Registration from 3rd July 2014 to 25th August 2014 on website www.aicte-cmat.in. Choice of 3 dates and 3 cities of India for online examination in the order of preference may be entered. Allotment will be based on first come first served. Actual allotment however will be subject to availability of the slots in a particular city.

Admission Process

The detailed merit list will be provided to the respective State Governments for allotting the students through central counseling or otherwise as per their notified admission procedure. In case there is no central counseling, scores awarded will be used for admission in the AICTE approved Institutes/University Departments.

Test Fee
General/OBC: Rs.1400 + Bank charges as applicable.
SC/ST/PD: Rs.700 + Bank charges as applicable.

CMAT Exam Pattern

Type of Questions: Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension & General Awareness.
Number of questions: 25
Maximum Marks: 100 and the Duration of exam will be 180 minutes.
