2. WOMEN EXCISE GUARD (WOMEN CIVIL EXCISE OFFICER)

Qualifications:
(1) Must have passed the Plus Two Examination or its equivalent.
(2) The minimum height shall be 152 cms, and in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST, the minimum height shall be 150 cms.
(3) Eye Sight: Must be certified to possess the visual standards specified below without glasses.
a. Distant Vision: 6/6 Snellen.
b. Near Vision: 0.5 Snellen.
(4) The candidates should produce a medical certificate from a medical officer not below the rank of Assistant Surgeon as to her physique, fitness and capacity for active outdoor work, when called for.

Physical Measurement: Must not be less than 165 cms, in height, 81 cms, round the chest with a minimum expansion of 5 cms, provided that the minimum height in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST shall be 160 cms, only. There will be no relaxation for chest measurement in the case of SC/ST candidates. 3. Eye Sight: Candidate should produce at the time of interview a Medical Certificate in original obtained from a Medical Officer not below the rank of Civil Surgeon Grade II in the form prescribed hereunder, certifying their Physical Fitness, Capacity for outdoor work and Eye sight etc must be certified to possess the visual standards specified below without glasses.

3. Category No. 255/2014 - From among Graduate Police Constables, Head Constables and officers of corresponding rank in Police and Vigilance Department who have completed probation. 4. Category No. 256/2014 - For non-graduate SC/ST candidates. If sufficient number of fully qualified candidates belonging to SC/ST communities are not available under category -I, the applications of those SC/ST candidates who have passed intermediate or pre-university will be considered only to fill up the quota reserved for them.

How to Submit Applications:
Candidates must register as per “ONE TIME REGISTRATION” with the Official Website of Kerala Public Service Commission viz 'www.keralapsc.gov.in' before applying for the post. Candidates who have registered shall apply by logging on to their profile and click on `Apply Now' button of the respective posts in the Notification Link to apply for a post. No application fee is required. Candidates can view and have a printout of the details on the registration card by clicking the link Registration Card after entering the home page. Candidates are responsible for the correctness of the personal information and secrecy of password. Before the final submission of the application on the profile, candidates must ensure the correctness of the information on their profile. They must quote their User Id for further communication with the Commission. Application submitted is provisional and cannot be deleted or altered on after submission. The Application will be summarily rejected if non compliance with the notification is found in due course of processing. Documents to prove Qualification, Community, age etc. have to be produced as and when called for.
